The app design prioritizes user needs by offering quick emotional check-ins and tailored micro-activities for mental health support. Its minimal and easy-to-use interface respects users’ busy lives.
Initial Brainstorming
Adults often balance competing responsibilities such as work, family, personal goals, and social commitments, making it difficult to prioritize their well-being. During ideation, a wide range of concepts were explored—from broad societal changes to technology-driven solutions—to better understand how mental wellness could be supported within busy lifestyles.
Ultimately, Pause was designed as a practical, accessible solution that integrates into daily routines through simple emotional check-ins and personalized activities that help users refocus, recharge, and maintain balance throughout the day.
